New build added: “Liquid Devil By EKWB”
Today we added a new buil into our gallery: “Liquid Devil By EKWB”. The build was made for a good friend of mine who wanted a tight case with power and sleek appearance.
Lots of goodies were put into the build, a 5800X and the famous 6800XT “Liquid Devil” are doing all the hard work.
Progression post “The RoG Tower”
Hey all, long time since I posted but I do this only for a hobby so anyway had some time to post, and here it is.
The RoG Tower is nearly finished! Added tons of new things since my last post but I don’t have any decent pictures yet.
What have I done?
- Added the Barrow 120 mm resevoir
- Put a RX 580 block from Bykski onto my RX 590
- Black tubing 14 mm
- Cut open the front and rear panel and spray painted them with asus typewriting
- Re-did the whole loop
- Added an extra ssd on the back of my X570-I
It is still not finished, Next up is some decent lightpanel and some minor touch-ups so we can take some decent pictures.

Re-Build: Ncase M1 becomes The Rog Tower
Earlier this month I posted The Ncredible Ncase post. But since then I have been testing and folding at 100 percent CPU and VGA and concluded even with the Coolermaster AIO that for the purpose it will be serving the Ncase is too small.
So out of the blue, a friend of mine asked if I would take his Phanteks Shift X case for modding or building. And away we go…
Like the Ncase M1, The RoG Tower will host the Ryzen 3700X, the Asus Rog motherboard, and so on. But with one exception: The CPU will be liquid-cooled by a joint venture of EKWB and Barrow parts. The radiator will be an 240 mm EKWB one SE type. The temperatures in the Ncase were as high as 71° Celsius, not insanely hot but still too hot for me.
So now the real test will come when everything is placed in the Phanteks Case.
At the moment will are awaiting some goods from our suppliers. Normally next week we will commence building again. The plan is to make some inserts on either side. Spray paint it in the colors of our theme.

Manu from mdmods.be has made us some beautiful custom cables. One for the CPU and one for the 24 pin motherboard. The level of craftmanship just drips from these and to say more, have a look at the pictures. Made in Belgium!

Ncrdible NCase M1 Project
Hey guys, long time no see. As I have been busy with other stuff there has been quite some time since I did a new project. Now the project called “Golden NXT” has been sold, it is time to start a new project for myself.
For quite some time I came into possession of a Ncase M1. In Belgium, they are quite rare so I am happy to have one.

What will happen to it? Well, I think it will be a three-stage project. Building and modding computer takes up a lot of money even if you sell one …
The first stage:
Buying stuff and try to get it to fit in that tiny case.
Which components?
Well, the Ncredible Ncase project will host a Ryzen 7 3700X with 16 GB DDR4 3200 Mhz memory from Gskill. The motherboard will be an Asus ROG strixx X 570-I mini itx.
For the SSD I choose a Samsung EVO plus 512 GB and for now as graphics card a Sapphire R590 solely for budget reasons (remember 3 stages).
The Ryzen 3700X will be cooled at first by a stock cooler from AMD itself. I will be doing some benchmarks just to see how this cooler behaves in “loaded” conditions.
The second stage:
Well after the stock cooler, I will install an AIO liquid cooler and test again what temp and loads the processor can handle. I also will do a review of that liquid cooler.
The third stage:
The third stage will be: installing a full custom made liquid cooling system in that tiny case. A special reservoir for that case is already ordered. Again I will be testing the loop and temps.

Bacardi Build V3 first pictures released
Our first pictures of the Bacardi Build have been released!
After months of work and reworking the case, we finally have finished and yet also released the first pictures of our Bacardi Build V3.
The case has seen some changes along the years to become what it is now.
Build log update “Golden NXT”
Hello Hello, even een build log update:
De “Golden NXT” heeft ondertussen wat updates gehad 🙂
Ik heb de PSU shroud ondertussen een nieuwe wrap gegeven en wat bestickering aan gebracht om de boel wat levendiger te maken.
De loop is ondertussen ook wat veranderd, namelijk aan de CPU block heb ik de outlet naar beneden laten lopen achter de VGA kaart die nu op de voorste riser staat met een nieuwe riser kabel van 20 cm.
De loop loopt nu niet meer over de ram latten wat het heel wat gemakkelijker maakt indien ik de ram wil swappen.
Onverwachts heb ik ook 2e hands een nieuwe dikke 3D kaart op de kop getikt, een ASUS GTX1070 O8G Strix !! Zeer mooie en deftige kaart waar ik ja ja ja een waterblok kan op monteren indien ik het zou willen. Of ik het doe hangt natuurlijk van het te besteden toekomstig budget af. Voorlopig ben ik wel tevreden hoe de PC er nu uitziet.
De fluid is vervangen van clear naar EK Cryofeul Amber orange, een voorzichtige keuze want zou eerder Mayhems Pastel Black willen steken maar wegens de beperkingen van pastel fluids en hun nadelen (clogging, verbleken, uitéénvallen, etce) ga ik ermee nog even wachten. Eén van de fluids die ook nog in gedachten had was een Primochill Vue Candy Gold. Deze fluid is niet alleen heel duur maar je moet de hele loop erop voor bereiden 🙁
Wat ik ook nog aangepast heb, ja we waren nu toch bezig 🙂 is de montage van een Alphacool Flowmeterke, moet zeggen ben heel tevreden over het resultaat.
Op de foto hierboven zie je het nog niet maar de Cablemod Pro Modmesh 24 pins kabel is er ook en zit er momenteel in. Samen met de 90° adpaterstuk.
Echt veel ga ik op dit moment niet meer veranderen aan de Custom Rig voor mezelf. Het einge wat ik nog zou willen aanpassen zijn de CPU voedingskabel en de VGA voedingskabel naar ook Cablemod Modmesh Pro kabels.

Icecold VGA mod: Asus RX580 strix in een wit jasje
Het stoort mij al een tijdje dat mijn Asus RX580 Strix nogal “zwart” is. Ik ben nogal fan van de HoF kaarten van KFA2 maar natuurlijk heb ik er het budget niet voor om mij zo een kaart aan te schaffen.
